Hi, I’m Yankai, a current NSF headed for the US for university in 2024. During my free time, I game, read and spend the remaining time overthinking about life. A byproduct of my overthinking, I started forYouths with a few my friends hoping that we, collectively as youths, can play our part in creating a more welcoming tomorrow for all youths.
Veanna Ranka
Director (Outreach)
Hey everyone, I am Veanna - forYouths' Director of Outreach. I'm a huge nature enthusiast, I love photography and I love working with people to help them in any way I can! I joined forYouths because I want to give back to my juniors and help them find or realise their passions just like how my seniors helped me!
Daniel Hum
Director (Publicity)
Hi, i am Daniel! I am currently one year into serving national service and I am part of the publicity team of ForYouths. As someone who has experienced the process of applying to university, I understand how daunting it may seem. Thus, I really hope that our programs would be able to help youths find their interests and make their unversity applications much smoother.
Vinoth K.
Director (Operations)
Hi, i'm Vinoth, Director of Operations in ForYouths. I am a first-year at NUS Computer Science. My hobbies include gaming, binging television and coding. After JC, I was extremely uncertain about my career and university choices and can relate to many students who are doubtful of their future. Through our programmes, I hope to help students discover their own passions and build a positive community of youths that support one another.
Ryan Ong
Director (Human Resource)
Hello! I am Ryan and my hobbies are gymming and travelling! Im currently serving in the army. As someone who was once unsure of what he would like to pursue, my main motivation for joining ForYouths is to help my fellow juniors discover and make informed choices on their educational pathways. I hope that my stay at ForYouths would make a tangible difference in the lives of those that join our programme.
Josiah Cheng
Director (Programmes)
Hello! Josiah here! I am in NS, and currently waiting to enter into NUS to study social work. ForYouths was a project started by a friend of mine, and it really shared a common goal with mine: To support the disadvantaged and bridge inequality created by social, economic and political factors. My goal of bettering others matched with forYouths, so it was a no-brainer to join.
