Grow while giving back to the community!

There is a belief here at forYouths, that all volunteers should have the opportunity to grow and gain something for themselves while serving the community.

Be it as a mentor/advisor with one of our mentorship programmes, or as an administrator of the organization, we offer a platform for volunteers to development new competencies and opportunities to actualise their growth.

Administrators

As an entirely youth-driven, volunteer-run, ground-up initiative, administrators form the backbone of forYouths. As with any organization, there are a wide variety of functions which a volunteer can be involved in, from human resources (HR) to research and planning.

We are particularly invested in the personal development of our administrators, and offer our administrators a plethora of skill-based training opportunities for those who wish to pick up new skills. The organization leadership also welcomes all efforts to innovate and is open to even new administrators helming their own projects / initiatives.

Finally, administrators are serving as part of a community. The culture of mentorship permeates throughout the organization. We adopt a buddy system as part of our onboarding process to ensure that new administrators feel welcomed and are primed to contribute at their best here.

Training Opportunities

forYouths seeks to empower all of its administrators to grow here. No role has a skill requirement, only good-to-haves and all new administrators are paired to a buddy who will assist them in learning the ropes. The organization also procures infrastructure to support administrators' learning and innovating efforts.

Leadership Development

Unlike volunteering for other organizations, administrators are running an actual non-profit organization - the stakes are different. We support all administrators with the desire to hone their leadership skills through various exposure programmes and offer ample opportunities to lead initiatives and even the organization.
